With the second beta, i’ve introduced an ‘XHTML Look’ for DirectToiPhone.

 

Though my focus with svgobjects2 is vector graphics UI, this XHTML Look is an important stop-gap until an SVG enabled iPhone becomes available.

 

For now the primary objective in the development of DirectToiPhone is to identify the subset of the D2W UI that is to be made available on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

 

It is clearly going to be a strict subset.

 

So for the second beta, i’ve introduced this XHTML Look along with an XHTML Music Store app to complement the SVG Music Store app. Right now they are functionally identical - the only difference is the D2W rule that defines their “look”.
